The strip shuttle does not run anymore Rio did away with it. My advice would be do not come here if you want to go to the strip you will have to take a taxi. Once you are here you are stuck. They charge extra fees on your stay even after you booked and paid for your room, besides their security is awful I was robbed of my travel card while in the casino, I lost 1900 dollars but lucky visa is replacing it. I would recommend staying at excalaber the food crt is excellent and the security is awesome. You do not have to pay extra fees except resort fee, after paying for your room. The Rio has food but it is expensive to eat here and it tastes rotten. If you are on a budget go to the gold coast casino behind Rio their buffet for breakfast is only 7 dollars with players card, their lunch buffet is only 9 dollrars and the food is great. Rio on the other hand is over priced and rotten. 32 dollars as opposed to 9 dollars which would you choose. The room views are the only thing here good.

The parking area you are looking for is on the north side of the property. Do not attempt the Flamingo road entrance

No but they have signs everywhere that say they have the right to enter rooms at any time, without consent from anyone in the room and even if the privacy sign is up, so they can figure it out fairly easily but don't be too loud and don't smoke too much and you should be in the clear
